Censorship & Honesty

If you're familiar with online dating, you know that most sites restrict what you're allowed to say in your profile and the content of the pictures you post. That's not true at ScientificMatch.

We believe very strongly in freedom and honesty. Censoring your profile undermines both.

The freedom part is self-explanatory. If you're a member of our service, you're an adult. You should express yourself however you see fit.

The honesty part is even more important. If you have no interest in dating someone who is rude or uses vulgarity, how would you feel if we, as your dating service, conspired to hide the fact that one of your matches is rude or vulgar? We're here to work with you, not against you. So if someone writes in an unflattering way, we're not going to force them to change their own profile to cover up who they really are.

The culture of ScientificMatch is one of safety and honesty. We refuse to hide or manipulate honest representations of your matches.
